Tariff Surcharges
Along with the greater global economy, the recent implementation of tariffs and counter tariffs has had a swift impact on the contract interiors industry. At Level Reps, one of our core goals has always been to have a positive impact on the communities in which we live and work.
Partnering with domestic manufacturers from the outset supports local businesses, workers, families, and communities while offering a superior value to our customers.
Although our brand partners are not fully immune to the impacts of the tariffs, we are fortunate to have a wide range of partners with both domestic production facilities and substantially domestic supply chains.
Below are the current statements from our brand partners regarding tariffs.
9to5 Seating
Beginning June 2, 2025, 9to5's tariff surcharge will increase to 5% on all orders.
Arcadia|Encore
Effective May 1st, 2025, a 5% price increase will be implemented across all product categories. This adjustment follows the existing 4.5% tariff surcharge implemented on April 1st, which remains in place. The 4.5% tariff surcharge goes into effect for OMNIA contracts on April 8th, 2025.
Hightower
Starting May 1, 2025, all quotes and orders will include a 5% tariff recovery fee of the net price as a line item until the tariffs are eliminated and the supply chain has normalized.
JSI
Beginning May 5, 2025, JSI will be implementing a 3.0% surcharge (NET) due to recent tariff increases on certain component parts (like drawer hardware and chair mechanisms). In addition, a 3.0% surcharge will be applied to any new orders received before May 5 that do not ship within our standard lead times. This surcharge will not apply to freight, fees, or deductions.
Muraflex
While the full details regarding tariffs on broader Canadian goods remain unclear, we are closely monitoring developments (including a specific tariff on aluminum and steel) to assess any potential impact. It is important to note that aluminum and steel account for only 10% to 15% of a typical project. Given this limited proportion, these tariffs will not affect our pricing. We remain committed to delivering high-quality solutions without disruption and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients, despite market fluctuations.
Upcoming Price Increases
9to5
9to5 Seating will implement a price increase with a weighted average of 4%, effective January 1, 2026. The 5% tariff surcharge continues to remain in effect.
Enwork
Effective November 1st, 2025, updated pricing will be implemented across most product lines, with an average increase of 2.8%. For the first time in many years, the Minimum Order Fee (MOF) for freight is changing as follows: orders less than $2,000 net will be assessed a $200 freight fee.
- Exceptions: Ne freight fee for orders less than $500 and ship FedEx Ground. $75 freight fee for orders over $500 net, which can be sent via FedEx Ground.
Hightower
Effective January 1st, 2026, certain products will have an implemented price increase, with an average of 3%. Hightower will continue to be transparent about the tariff cost-sharing with a separate 5% tariff recovery fee added to all orders instead of a higher price change.

JSI
Effective January 19, 2026, JSI will be implementing a 3% price increase on all series.
Exceptions listed below.

Effective January 1, 2026, there will be a 2% price increase on a select number of Source’s product lines as noted below. This adjustment is a result of rising costs in materials and tariffs, which have impacted the entire industry.
Increase Amount: 2% on the following product lines: Beyond, Charm, Celebrate, CrissCross, Fjord, Lore, Nordic, Portrait, Scape, Zenith
